A chemical peel is a skin resurfacing procedure designed to improve the appearance and texture of the skin. Peels are applied in the office during a 40 min appointment and can help with a range of skin issues such as UV induced pigmentation, melasma, post-inflammatory pigmentation, active acne and acne scaring. We carry a range of peels from light to medium depth. Depending on the desired downtime and skin goals you can expect a range of no peeling to moderate peeling. This service begins with a cleanse and skin prep. You will go home with any post treatment instructions needed.

 

If a medium depth peel, such as our VI Peel, is used you will also go home with custom post treatment skincare kit. A VI Peel is only for established patients who have had a skin assessment and are on approved skincare.  A VI Peel is a medium-depth chemical peel that penetrates your top layer of skin, called the epidermis, reaching into the dermis underneath. The VI Peel is safe for all skin types (Fitzpatrick types I-VI). It tightens skin, smooths texture, and brightens tone. Specifically formulated to rejuvenate and help prevent future damage to the skin. This is a great first-time peel for all age groups who want fresh, healthy, radiant skin.
