All neurotoxins (‘tox) are Botulinum Toxin A. There are six FDA approved brands of ‘tox: Botox-Cosmetic, Dysport, Xeomin, Jeuveau, Daxxify and the newest as of March 2024 is Letybo, with more in clinical trials. The brands we currently carry are Dysport and Xeomin. Once injected into the facial skeletal muscles, it causes weakness of that muscle, preventing a muscle contraction and thus treating the wrinkle on the skin caused by the contraction. Neurotoxin injections typically lasts round 90 days.
